Recently we took one of our larger shepherd huts to the Hebridian Islands, where winds can be, so we are told, a bit hairy.
The hut included: a kitchen area, book shelves and bed with cupboards and drawers underneath. The lighting in the hut was solar powered, as well as provision for mains electric to power a fridge, and other electrical goods.
To prepare for high winds, this Shepherd’s hut was fitted with extra tie down points, on each corner. We also supplied four steel legs to provide extra stability in case of extreme weather.
The Shepherd's Hut started its journey from Mid Wales and had a whistle stop tour of England and Scotland.
